[Instiki] Serving pictures and other static content from Instiki
Something worth mentioning, from a comment on Trac ticket (http://dev.instiki.org/ticket/131) QTE In 0.10 there is a better way to achieve the same thing. You can put your static images into ./public/images (within your instiki directory), and refer to them from a Textile wiki as follows: !/images/20rave.span.jpg! Similar approach works for any other static content - HTML, binary files etc. UNQTE In fact, this is what I am doing instead of file uploads on some project wiki of mine (3 regular authors and a few viewers). I just gave access to instiki/public/files to all my teammates. -- Best regards, Alexey Verkhovsky Ruby Forum: http://ruby-forum.org (moderator) RForum: http://rforum.andreas-s.net (co-author) Instiki: http://instiki.org (maintainer)
