freebsd stable - Oct 2010 - ZFS log device removal?

I hope I'm not asking anything too obvious, but I just saw this commit via
the svn-src-all list:

And I was wondering if this perhaps means that log device removal is now
possible on 8-STABLE.  Or was this just a small code revision toward that
feature?

Hello,

This only adds the ability to offline a log device, but not to remove it.
Also pools with missing log devices can't be imported. These features are
added in ZFS v19.
