sysctl: dev.cpu.0.freq: Device busy (cpufreq p4tcc / RELENG_6)
I have problems in cpufreq in RELENG_6 (today). I try to set another frequency in my laptop and get this error: # sysctl dev.cpu.0.freq=250 dev.cpu.0.freq: 2000 sysctl: dev.cpu.0.freq: Device busy Some information below... # sysctl -a | grep freq ... debug.cpufreq.lowest: 0 debug.cpufreq.verbose: 8 machdep.acpi_timer_freq: 3579545 machdep.tsc_freq: 1995011972 machdep.i8254_freq: 1193182 dev.cpu.0.freq: 2000 dev.cpu.0.freq_levels: 2000/22000 1750/19250 1500/16500 1250/13750 1000/11000 750/8250 500/5500 250/2750 dev.acpi_perf.0.freq_settings: 2000/22000 dev.cpufreq.0.%driver: cpufreq dev.cpufreq.0.%parent: cpu0 dev.p4tcc.0.freq_settings: 10000/-1 8750/-1 7500/-1 6250/-1 5000/-1 3750/-1 2500/-1 1250/-1 I set debug.cpufreq.verbose=8 and get some messages, dmesg attached. pciconf are attached too. Another problem are in kldunload and cpufreq. Does not work.
