Puppet users - May 2007 - Setting file and directory permissions

Pop Quiz:

What is the best way to set the file permissions on files and directories 
if you want the directories to have one set of permissions and the files 
there-in to have a different set of permissions (short of specifying each 
file and directory individually) ?

Puppet will automatically add execute bits to directories, so you can  
just specify ''644'' or whatever and Puppet will directories
755.

Other than that, the only real option is to control permissions on  
the server and Puppet will duplicate them on the client.
