Well, they have pretty different interfaces as far as I know, but
mainly, I wrote the LDAP support before I knew that net/ldap
existed. It''d be good to port, since net/ldap is pure ruby (AFAIK),
but this hasn''t been a priority for anyone that I''ve seen.
