Hi, I've just put a brand-new D-Link DFE-550TX network card into a 4-STABLE box (cvsupped at Tue May 18 0000 UTC and kernel rebuilt). However, the kernel is complaining thusly: # uname -a FreeBSD neddie.local.net 4.10-PRERELEASE FreeBSD 4.10-PRERELEASE ... # dmesg| grep ste ste0: <D-Link DFE-550TX 10/100BaseTX> port 0xc000-0xc07f mem 0xdd000000-0xdd0001ff irq 11 at device 9.0 on pci2 ste0: global reset never completed ste0: eeprom failed to come ready ste0: failed to read station address device_probe_and_attach: ste0 attach returned 6 Many thanks in advance for any ideas on how to fix this. Cheers, Warren

Apologies for bothering the list. Warren
