freebsd stable - Jul 2003 - Port XFree86-4-Server

"pkgconfig too old, version 0.14 or better requirered"

This is the Error message after 1 hour of compiling

Where can I get "pkgconfig" 0.14 or better?

Using Freebsd-4.8-RELEASE  upgraded from FreeBSD-4.2.6 via cvsup

/usr/ports/x11-servers/XFree86-4-Server

In the ports collection, of course.

Use portupgrade to correctly upgrade your ports in dependency order,
so pkgconfig is upgraded before the ports that depend on it.
