I have fail2ban running on my Asterisk box. Every so often I receive emails stating that the jails stopped and then started. Why does this happen? Why isn't it just continuously running? Depending on your platform, this can be the result of a cron job, an entry in /etc/lograte.d, /etc/newsyslog.conf, whatever. It's normal. -- Barry
