Xapian devel - Dec 2011 - Looking for a project

Hi ml,

I'm an senior year CS student working in information retrieval. I was
looking for a project to do (preferably related to information retrieval).
Can someone guide me and sort of mentor me part time?

There's a list of project ideas on the wiki, which is probably a good
starting point:

If nothing there appeals then give us an idea what sort of thing you'd
like to work on, and we'll try to suggest something.
