There are possibilities that some fixes between 3.5.6 and 3.5.11 add better support for some printing functionalities. In case you're in the position of doing this, I can suggest testing the backported 3.5.11 version (packages from Debian unstable, recompiled for squeeze): http://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=samba&searchon=names§ion=all&suite=squeeze-backports
