I''m trying to get the Fedora DS 1.0.4 console working on a Windows computer, using the instructions in the Howto. When I try to start the console, I get this error message: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/netscape/management/client/console/Console Any idea what could cause this? Yes. In this case, it seems Windows doesn''t use symbolic links the way Linux does. I fixed it by replacing all linked files with copies of the files they were linked to.
