We only support the DOS attribute bits for files. Not the best solution
I admit, but the setgid and sticky bits are not really available either.

Yup. If the fs supported some type of extanded attribute storage,
we could pass the attributes (and security descriptors) for that matter
through the VFS have have the fs worry about how to represent it.
