samba - Jan 2002 - newbie Q .. what is ...

Hejsa/Hello samba,

  I've recently compiled the 2.2.2 samba .. and now I'm trying to
  configure it using the included swat/help htmlpages .....

  I'm now trying to configure the server as a PDC for a w2k and w98
  network ... I've used the add user script as in the samba pdc howto
  and now im trying to join my w2k machine to the domain ... and now i
  ask .. what is the domain ... my workgroup or what ??? I'm confused
  ?:-/ ...

Yes.  It is the value of the "workgroup" parameter in smb.conf.
