samba - Jan 2002 - Passing a share through a linux box to other users.

Hi all,

Is it possible to share a share???  I want to mount an
NT share onto a linux box (using smbmount of course). 
Then let win98 machines mount the share from the linux
box.  The first step works the second doesn't.  No
matter what I do I cannot change the group permission
to 'write'  Is this an impossible task??

You need to tell us how you mount this. Sounds like you are not giving the 
group permission to write at mount time (see the smbmount manpage, 
fmask/dmask).
