samba - Jan 2002 - Survey problem and feature request

When I attempt to use the survey link, I get a "Not Found" error. The 
email address listed on that page is also not valid.

I would like to see smb.conf variables added for OS Name, OS Version 
and server IP Address.

Do you mean host OS?  You can set all of these in environment variables
and the get at them via $%(ENVAR) syntax.
