Hi all I am posting this the second time after having received no answer and also having found none searching the archives. How do I get rid of those entries in my log files. I have four SAMBA servers configured pretty much alike apart from the shares. I run 2.0.7 and have those entries only in three of the servers. They have "3com" and "Netelligent" NIC's but the entries are alike. I also installed 2.2.0 but to no avail. The servers seems to run all right apart from the weird occurance that it takes about 10 times as long to open a 17K Excel sheet than to open a 12MB PDF file. This is only true for some Excel sheets, others pop up all right. Here are the logs and my global settings: [2001/04/04 14:40:59, 0] lib/util_sock.c:write_socket_data(540) write_socket_data: write failure.
