I'm a newbie to SAMBA, and I need some help. I'm just setting up and the first time I tried to connect I got the message 'Connetion to SAMBA failed'. When I started smbclient I got the following message: Added interface ip=192.168.1.11 bcast etc...... The ip address is incorrect. How do I change this. How do I change this.1) Check that in /etc/hosts you have the right ip-name mapping 2) Don't use any of interfaces bind interfaces hosts allow smb.conf parameters until it works without them. -- giulioo@pobox.com
