samba - Oct 2000 - Windows 98 problem

I'm installing samba for the first time. I'm installing samba on solaris
2.7. It seems that all the components on the solaris side are working, but
when I try to map a drive from my windows98 client I get "Invalid
Password".
I made sure my password is correct ( I ran smbclient -L sambaserver). I can
see my samba server under network neighorhood. Any help would be
appreciated.

Samba stores its own password file independently of UNIX' password file.
If this is a fresh install, you will need to use smbpasswd on the UNIX
side.
