Hi, All. Is it possible, from a Windows 9x client, to determine if someone else has a file open on a Samba share? We have a shared Statistica database residing on a Samba share that may only be opened if no one else has it open. I'd like some mechanism that could test for the open file from within, say, a DOS batch file prior to launching Statistica. (Samba 2.0.7, VA Linux (Red Hat) 6.2, kernel 2.2.14-5.0.14smp) Any advice is appreciated. Thanks. -Bill
