I may have sent this to the wrong forum the first time.... Jeff -----Original Message----- From: Natalie Fuss [mailto:nfuss@wwdb.org] Sent: Tuesday, August 08, 2000 6:53 PM To: samba-technical@samba.org Subject: Win98 Client issues I am attempting to use SMB server with 3 win98 clients in broadcast mode. I can transfer files fine. The problem is when I try to stream data such as music files or games CD's. The apps slow down and stop. I turned on logging and discovered along with the data file requests, requests from the clients for DLL and API files. It almost looks like the directory pointer has been changed to point to the server. Am I losing my mind?(maybe wrong forum for tath question) Jeff Fuss
