Hello. We are having a difficult time installing Samba on SCO Unix OSR5. The version was downloaded from the Samba Web site corresponding to the SCO version. The smb.conf file was extracted from a working smb.conf file on a HP-UX machine with the appropriate components modified. TEST 1 from the Diagnosing Your Samba Server gives the message: ERROR LOCK DIRECTORY /USR/LOCAL/SAMBA/VAR/LOCKS DOES NOT EXIST TEST 3 from the Diagnosing Your Samba Server gives the message ADDED INTERFACE 130.219.23.100 BCAST=130.219.23.233 NMASK=255.255.255.255 SESSION REQUEST TO 130.219.23.100 FAILED SESSION REQUEST TO SMBSERVER FAILED We want to communicate directly (phone or e-mail) with someone who can help.
