samba - Mar 2000 - SWAT and SSL

Is there a way to use SWAT through an encrypted channel? With OpenSSL maybe?

I configured Samba with SSL support and activated SWAT. However, with SSL
support using SWAT, I couldn't restart or stop the samba daemons in status
window. I I know the reason for this, normally if you restart your smbd by
hand, it asks for the password and there is no chance for entering password
in the SWAT window. Is it related to what you expect?
