So use user authentificates one time, and this is valid until he leaves the mahcine and closes his session. It would be a very insecure thing, if the login-procedure of some unix did the same - someone could try to crash the shell and trace the core. And just this is our problem. Thus, the only way i see, is either to store a file somewhere with the password, which is in fact not good idea, because this file should be readable by lp, or to ask the NTSysadmin to open an lpr port or a guest account to print. For me, the latter works only for 1 printer. The nice ones are still protected... This is the only thing, i may contribute.
