Pretty simple, first make sure your remote clients can connect to your
linux box
via ppp (if a ping works, it'll do).
second connect from any remote computer and try it. afaik no special
config required.
I use my linux server as a dial-in and use w95/w98 clients for
microsoft networking.
you might have to use the numeric ip-address of your server to map
network drives, a
small entry in c:\windows\lmhosts should help then.
and of course (in SHARE MODE = USER) you have to log in to your remote
computer
with a valid Samba-Server account. Otherwise you will be asked for the
password
for a user that doesn't even exist on your server. (MAP USERNAME might
help here.)
still questions?
