samba - Nov 1998 - passwords on printers not needed

try using the -U %
param for smbclient
(smbclient \\\\$server\\$printer -P -U %)
I use it here to accept a job from an as/400 on my unix print-server
do some funky manipulations
then send it across the street to a windows 95 machine
