Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to configure a Samba server to behave as an NT print server in such a way that the the printer drivers can be loaded once on the server and downloaded as needed by NT clients making connections to the Samba server-managed printers? The goal is to minimize configuration that has to be done on the NT clients when new printers/printer types are added Samba-managed domain. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Help, This should be a simple question. When I add a network printer from a a NT 4.0 Print Server to my NT 4.0 Workstation the printer drivers are automatically down loaded to my system. Does Samba provide the same service? If it does, then where should the drivers be located on the Samba server and what configuration parameters control this service? Thanks in advance, Mark -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
