Could somebody kindly make a comment on the following problem: Samba 1.9.18p4 runs on a Solaris server and there are some W95 PCs around. Samba is configured with: domain master = yes local master = no preferred master = no OK, Samba server and all PCs are clearly visible in Windows NetHood. Now, I change configuration to: domain master = yes local master = yes preferred master = yes Samba's nmbd becomes then local master browser for workgroup. At this moment Samba server and all PCs vanish from Windows NetHood. Beside that all works well (i.e. domain logons, finding shares, etc.). Only browsing is corrupted. Is it a bug|feature of Samba or what? Maciek Uhlig University of Silesia, Computer Center, Katowice, Poland
