I solved the problem of Get_Hostbyname upgrading the libraries (under Linux
though). I had to do that when I upgraded to 1.9.18p3 generated on a newer
system: it couldn't work with libc.so.5.?.23 so I changed to 5.4.38 and
everythig begun working again.
