am referring to the threads: [Fedora-xen] XEN Kernel Panic [update], [Fedora-xen] XEN Problem with root device I am trying to fire-up a jailtime xen image on a fc6 host. my config file looks like this: kernel = "/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.19-1.2911.6.4.fc6xen" memory = 128 name = "centos.4-4" vif = [ '''' ] dhcp = "dhcp" disk = [''file:/xen/centos/centos.4-4.img,sda1,w'', ''file:/xen/centos/centos.swap, sda2,w''] root = "/dev/sda1 ro" ramdisk = "/boot/initrd-2.6.19-1.2911.6.4.fc6xen.img" Of course i get the same error as Clause Reheis. He was suggested to rebuild the initrd image with the options --preload=xenblk --with=xennet. I would like to try this but i don''t know how! I have tried: mkinitrd /boot/initrd-2.6.19-1.2911.fc6xenU.img --preload=xenblk --with=xennet 2.6.19-1.2911.fc6xen with the result: No modules available for kernel "2.6.19-1.2911.fc6xen". Do i have to install some extra packages? Thanks for your help! Martin Bossard

If not, just let me know! Maybe I should translate this to English, but I am not sure my English is well enough! Schnell! Schnell!;-) Makes a certain amount of sense, but I''m sure your English would make more. I can''t tell whether this is the cure for my kernel panic:-( -- Cheers John -- spambait 1aaaaaaa@coco.merseine.nu Z1aaaaaaa@coco.merseine.nu Please do not reply off-list
