wine users - May 2009 - Office 2003 Language Bar

I have just installed Office 2003 in Wine 1.0.1, Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid 64-bit.
Everything seems to be working fine with the install when running the
applications; however the Office "Langauge Bar" has popped up on my
desktop and I can't get it to go away. In the Windows install, a right click
- menu navigation on the bar itself leads to the option to remove. Running in
wine the menus display as black boxes.

Does anyone know how to de-activate the Language bar in Wine?

I've never encountered that problem myself, but I found this amongst the
comments in the AppDB entry for Office 2003:

> to disable annoying language bar: 
> $ wine cmd 
> $ c:\>regsvr32.exe /u msutb.dll 
> $ c:\>exit

That did the trick.
