[Logcheck-devel] Bug#368878: smartd rules do not ignore scheduled self-tests on SCSI/SATA disks
Package: logcheck-database Version: 1.2.44 Severity: normal Tags: patch /etc/logcheck/ignore.d.server/smartd only ignores the scheduled self-test messages for IDE disks and disks attached to 3ware controllers, but not those for SCSI and SATA disks. The attached patch fixes this, unifying the IDE and 3ware rules into one handling all cases. elmar -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-bdclaim Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages logcheck-database depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.0 Debian configuration management sy logcheck-database recommends no packages. -- debconf information: logcheck-database/conffile-cleanup: false logcheck-database/rules-directories-note: logcheck-database/standard-rename-note: -- .'"`. /"\ | :' : Elmar Hoffmann <elho at elho.net> ASCII Ribbon Campaign \ / `. `' GPG key available via pgp.net against HTML email X `- & vCards / \ -------------- next part -------------- --- /etc/logcheck/ignore.d.server/smartd.dpkg-dist 2006-04-30 22:23:04.000000000 +0200 +++ /etc/logcheck/ignore.d.server/smartd 2006-05-25 18:13:15.392055230 +0200 @@ -1,3 +1,2 @@ -^\w{3} [ :0-9]{11} [._[:alnum:]-]+ smartd\[[0-9]+\]: Device: /dev/hd[[:lower:]], starting scheduled (Long|Short) Self-Test\.$ -^\w{3} [ :0-9]{11} [._[:alnum:]-]+ smartd\[[0-9]+\]: Device: /dev/sd[[:lower:]] \[3ware_disk_0[0-9]\], starting scheduled (Short|Long) Self-Test\.$ +^\w{3} [ :0-9]{11} [._[:alnum:]-]+ smartd\[[0-9]+\]: Device: /dev/[hs]d[[:lower:]]( \[3ware_disk_0[0-9]\])?, starting scheduled (Long|Short) Self-Test\.$ ^\w{3} [ :0-9]{11} [._[:alnum:]-]+ smartd\[[0-9]+\]: Device: /dev/[[:alpha:]]{3}, SMART Usage Attribute: 194 Temperature_Celsius changed from ([5-9]|[1-4][0-9]|50) to ([5-9]|[1-4][0-9]|50)$ -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
