Hi, I have a Cisco SPA525G latest firmware, and very often when I attempt a transfer I get a "network error" message when I press Dial on the transfer. I never get that erroron a simple call out Asterisk is configured for that phone exactly the same as my other phones (Polycom) are (same sip.conf settings, except for user and pw of course), so it likely isnt an Asterisk problem. I really like the product (the fact that it is a full-featured deskphone that connects Wifi to the network. Very useful for remote areas that have no RJ-45) but that problem a bit of an issue for power users. What should I be looking for? The Wifi router is a few feet away, and the Wifi activity is limited to that phone and a (low usage) laptop, so Wifi overutilization is probably not an issue. There is a Beta FW available that is better but still not perfect. Head over to the Cisco Support Forums as Steve suggested and ask them to email you same.
