asterisk users - Jun 2010 - Voicemail bug(?) with Asterisk 1.6.2.8-rc1

Hello everyone!
   I have a problem with my voicemail. When someone leaves a message - using 
googletalk at least - the message file starts silnet, stays that way for a few 
seconds and then is cut short at the end.
   The last test we did ended up more than 10 seconds missing in the left 
message.
   Does anyone else have the same problem/ Could someone suggest a cure, 
please?

I assume conversations are OK using GT.  Have you tried the Record()
function with GT to see if the same problem persists?

Hello,

you should try starting asterisk with the -t option (i think) than the 
voicemail file will be stored in a temp file and then copied to its 
final place.

maybe you have the same problem we had when we save the voicemail file 
over an nfs link.
