[asterisk-users] What does Asterisk give to reject a re-invite?
Hello, If you have canreinvite=no and a peer sends you a re-invite, what will Asterisk reply with? Thanks, -- David Cunningham, Voisonics http://voisonics.com/ US toll-free: +1 888 842 2720 UK: +44 (0) 20 3298 1642 Australia: +61 (0) 2 9037 2180

'canreinvite' is mis-named, and that's why in more modern versions of Asterisk it has been renamed to 'directmedia'. Asterisk will *always* accept properly formed re-INVITEs that don't require capabilities that are not available, and it will also generate them for non-directmedia purposes (like switching to and from T.38) when necessary, regardless of whether 'canreinvite' is set to yes or no. -- Kevin P.
