[asterisk-users] does transcoding take place when a SIP call (both ends using same codec) gets forwarded over T1?
I am trying to understand this from a CPU performance perspective. We have SIP Phones/Asterisk using G729 codec. The calls are being forwarded over T1 to the PSTN. T1 will be ulaw and E1 will be alaw most likely. --Tim -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
