I would like to add a function to an existing application that will make an outgoing call. I found this example using the Manager API for originating a call to an extension. http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/index.php?page=Asterisk+manager+Example%3A+Originate I was wondering if the manager API was the correct way to do this and If anyone has any example code for doing this kind of thing? Thanks for the help.

[asterisk-users] Probably a simple question. Dial a call.
You could also use a call file ( google it ;) ).
