[Asterisk-Users] Start recording after call started
Is there a way to tell asterisk to start recording DURING a call? Can I flash, then *XX, and then flash back to my call while asterisk records?
In Asterisk v1.2.1 check the "featuremap" section of the "features.conf" file. You also need to add the "w" or "W" option to your "Dial" cmd where appropriate. So with the feature mapping below pressing *1 would start recording. [featuremap] blindxfer => #1 ; Blind transfer, default is # disconnect => *0 ; Disconnect automon => *1 ; One Touch Record atxfer => *2 ; Attended transfer ----- Original Message ----- From: "Technical Support" <support@ocg.ca> Newsgroups: gmane.comp.telephony.pbx.asterisk.user Sent: Tuesday, January 03, 2006 7:54 PM Subject: Start recording after call started> Is there a way to tell asterisk to start recording DURING a call? > > Can I flash, then *XX, and then flash back to my call while asterisk > records? > > > _______________________________________________ > --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com -- > > Asterisk-Users mailing list > To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: > http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users >
