Hello people, I use a Linksys BEFSR41 Cable modem router at home. It works great for a single phone. It cannot work for multiple phones because the router cannot port forward 5060 to all phones. (Linksys tech support even confirmed this.) Aside from the new Cisco 800 series (which are $$$$$ and geared for cable/dsl installs), can anyone recommend a nice SOHO router that can support multiple phones? (Would be nice if you actually use this router with asterisk so I can tell the boss man "it does work with asterisk") Thanks, Matthew -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Matthew Boehm, IT Director Cypress Telecommunications mboehm@cytelcom.com 3838 N. With STUN set up correctly on the phones, you really should not need to port forward. The phone should be able to discover the mapping and work with it. -- Nabeel Jafferali X2 Networks www.x2n.ca T: 1.647.722.6900 1.877.VOIP.X2N F: 1.866.655.6698 FWD: 46990> -----Original Message----- > From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users- > bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Matthew Boehm > Sent: May 18, 2005 2:13 PM > To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com > Subject: [Asterisk-Users] Recommend a good SOHO NAT Router > > Hello people, > I use a Linksys BEFSR41 Cable modem router at home. Not only does it work well with Asterisk, it runs it :)... http://www.kriscompanies.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=3 http://www.soekris.com/net4801.htm </shameless plug> -- Kristian Kielhofner
