asterisk users - May 2005 - TFTP question

I'm trying to use TFTP to update the firmware on a Cisco ATA188 but I'm 
receiving this error:

hosts.allow and hosts.deny are empty, directory /tftpboot and files are 
readable by owner/group/others. Running tftpd (0.17-12) on Debian Sarge. 
Similar error message when running atftp.

Ideas?

Hi,

I have tftp setup on the server. The server has 2 network cards in it.
The 3 cisco phones I have get a dhcp address from this same server.
they recognize the tftp setting on this server as the same box
(I can view this on the network status screen on the phone)
I cna ping the phones.
the status screen on the phone is giving TFTP timeout errors.

I can "tftp localhost" and "get OS79XX.TXT" and that works.

What might be wrong that the phones are not able to TFTP
their configuration information?
