[Asterisk-Users] Some phones need about 11 second before they ring
I cannot figure out why some phones need about 11 seconds till they ring. Both phones are on my desk. I call from A to B. Other phones ring instantly! What can be the reason for that? bye Ronald

Yeah I noticed that on a phone that doesn't have a send button i.e. a hard phone. I've also noticed that stopped now I've migrated to AMP. I haven't investigated what changed to make that go away. But the good news is it's possible! What type of phones, how are they connected? Does the calling phone having ringing for about 11 seconds before the called phone actualy starts to ring -- or are they getting dead air and the ringing sound starts at the correct time (when the called phone starts to ring) but 11 seconds after they finished dialing?
