[Asterisk-Users] Meetme with video & audio phone mixed
I want to have a single meetme conference room that interconnects H.323 video phone clients and sip/iax audio phone clients. I have already set up for meetme to be shared by sip/iax audio phones and I have just now installed open h323 stuff. Regarding to this, I have several questions. #1 Is interconnecting H.323 video phone clients and sip/iax audio phone clients in meetme possible on *? #2 If #1 is possible, do I need to use OpenMCU, OpenGK kind of stuff together with *? #3 if I need OpenMCU and OpenGK in #2, where can I find configuration example? Thanks in advance Kuniyoshi Murata -- Kuniyoshi Murata.........................iChat/AIM:macwebcaster English-Japanese Interpreter mailto:kuni@ej-interpreter.net Macintosh Webcast Specialist http://www.macwebcaster.com

There is a bounty on implementing video conferencing. If you search the mailing list you will find several discussions about this.> Regarding to this, I have several questions. > > #1 Is interconnecting H.323 video phone clients and sip/iax audio phone > clients in meetme possible on *? > > #2 If #1 is possible, do I need to use OpenMCU, OpenGK kind of stuff > together with *?One thing that may work is to have the H323 video streams mixed by OpenMCU. Connect the sip (audio only) clients to asterisk which in turn connects to OpenMCU. It may work. Peter
