btw. I'm admin of phpBB Forum (slackware forum - polish language), nearly
900
users. I think if someone will prepare it good it can be great project.

(but I have 7 person team).

I suppose in light of some people's discontent with the idea of diverse
sources of information they never say what would end these conversations the
quickest and with the least amount of fuss. There is an unofficial asterisk
forum that already has a fair amount of popularity. It is hosted by xvoip
and can be found at http://asterisk.xvoip.com.

I think it's a terrible idea :-/

Sorry if this seems crude to some people, but mailing list have this 
wonderful property of keeping lusers out of the way because it requires  
to know how to use mail filters.

This minimal required capacity is IMHO a good thing which you don't have 
with newsgroup / web forums.
