asterisk users - Oct 2004 - Received bad packet with bad udp checksum.

Every time  I asterisk to retrieve voice mail, or dial to the menu extension
there is choppy sound coming out. When that happens asterisk reports
Received bad packet with bad udp checksum. I can have conversation to other
people just fine, but any voice exchange with asterisk is horrible. What
could I do?
