[Asterisk-Users] connecting asterisk to existing pbx extension line
All, In our shared office space we have a PBX extension - I would like to know if that can be connected into * using an FXO port? I know that often PBX lines are not the same as PSTN lines and you cannot connect for example a fax or modem to them and have it work because they use digital signaling. That depends on what type of line it is. It could be fxs, fxo, E&M or digital. Until you know what type of line it is, there is no way to know how to hook it to *.
