This is probably a dumb question, but does anyone know how I can get callerid to show when dialing internally. It works fine from someone dialing in from an outside trunk, but just shows "Unavailable" when dialing from internal extension to internal extension.... Thanks, -Ronan
User the callerid="exten" in your zapata/sip/whatever that you define the extension in(ie, NOT in extensions.) That does not work for me. I had tried that, but no luck. This is what I have in there for it. context=darby usecallerid=yes musiconhold=default echotraining=yes echocancel=yes signalling=fxo_ks channel => 19 callerid=119 Is the syntax incorrect? It should be above the channel line. The callerid line is not included because it is below the channel line. Bryan Ronan wrote:> That does not work for me. I had tried that, but no luck. Quote it: callerid="119" channel => 19 And put it before the channel number. In my .conf file I have context= below channel=. Also you have to stop and restart asterisk to make the changes - a reload is not enough.
