[Asterisk-Users] asterisk server crashing
I've been running an asterisk server for several months on my RedHat 9 box. Today I decided to update some of the glibc packages on my box and upgrade it to the latest asterisk cvs as well. I can start the asterisk server without incident. I can place a call in from the outside and it takes the call fine; however as soon as I hangup, the server appears to just crash. I have no idea what might be happening here. I would appreciate it very greatly if someone could give me some pointers. Below are the lines that I retrieved from my /var/log/asterisk/messages file that are at the specific time of the crash: Nov 29 19:43:53 WARNING[1075726528]: File res_musiconhold.c, Line 508 (moh_regi$ Nov 29 19:43:53 WARNING[1075726528]: File res_musiconhold.c, Line 508 (moh_regi$Nov 29 19:43:53 WARNING[1075726528]: File res_musiconhold.c, Line 508 (moh_regi$ Nov 29 19:43:53 WARNING[1075726528]: File cdr_addon_mysql.c, Line 258 (my_load_$Nov 29 19:43:53 NOTICE[1109318576]: File res_musiconhold.c, Line 258 (monmp3thr$ Nov 29 19:43:53 WARNING[1155292080]: File chan_oss.c, Line 238 (sound_thread): $ Nov 29 19:43:53 WARNING[1075726528]: File chan_iax2.c, Line 5946 (load_module):$ Nov 29 19:43:53 WARNING[1075726528]: File chan_iax2.c, Line 5398 (set_config): $ Nov 29 19:43:53 WARNING[1075726528]: File chan_zap.c, Line 7256 (load_module): $ Nov 29 19:43:53 NOTICE[1075726528]: File chan_skinny.c, Line 2497 (reload_confi$ Until now my asterisk server has pretty much run without a hitch. And other than upgrading glibc and asterisk today I have made no other changes. Thanks AJ
Have you recompiled all of the other libraries asterisk links in as well? I'm pretty sure when you do a glibc rebuild/upgrade, other libraries must be rebuilt/relinked as well as they depend on parts of glibc.
