Hi,
You are correct, I doubt you are going to find a more cost effective
VoIP solution..
For 30 users I would recomend a T100P digium card and a T1(assuming you
are in the US) line for the PBX to PSTN side.. An entry level P4 server
with IDE drives should provide enough power for that size install
depending on your choice of codec and call concurrency..
Then for each desk you have to decied on an IP phone, this will largley
depend on your budget.. Prices range from $75 per phone to nearly $1000,
alternatively you could use soft phones of which some are free and some
you have to pay for..
