asterisk users - Aug 2003 - current status of i4l and dtmf stuff

I have searched the list for my current problems with DTMF detection over
isdn4linux. I found 2 patches that have to be applied in the list on Jan 2003.

Before I start patching the kernel, I would like to ask if this is still the
current status. Pointers to information will be appreciated.
