I have had asterisk working for a few weeks now, and yesterday a big problem started to occur. When I boot my computer, everything works fine, but when I make a long distance call, there is a hardware failure (not sure exactly which card is failing). When I check out dmesg, I get around 1000 lines of PCI Master Abort I have 2 X100Ps and one TDM10B in my system. Motherboard: ECS P4S5A/DX+ (I have tried the cards in two of these motherboards with the same result) Processor: Celeron 1.7GHz Could this be a hardware compatability issue? _________________________________________________________________ STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail

I have loaded my drivers properly. After the failure, if I try to unload and reload the drivers I get the following message /lib/modules/2.4.21-0.13mdk/misc/wcfxs.o: init_module: No such device Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters. You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg modprobe: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.21-0.13mdk/misc/wcfxs.o failed modprobe: insmod wcfxs failed Is this maybe because too many devices are trying to use IRQ 11? I get the same problem with a T100P... as soon as I do a modprobe, it fills the screen with "PCI Master Abort" messages and keeps the machine from doing anything else. (The machine is a Dual Proc 2GHz Xeon with 2 Gigs of ram, in case anyone is interested.) Do you have anything else in your system other than a T100P? (The machine is a Dual Proc 2GHz Xeon with 2 > Gigs of ram, in case anyone is interested.)I have the same problem with a single TDM10B in an oldish PC Server 330 (Pentium II 300 MHz). Moreover, when the PCI Master Abort does not lock up the machine, the lspci output for the card becomes extremely strange. I moved the card to an Athlon machine, ASUS motherboard, and it works fine. It happened when the hard drive was accessed. I did not bother to look but I assumed that they were using the same IRQ. I know that the cards are sensitive to that. I re-arranged the PCI slots and that solved the problem. The problem is easily recreated if you wish for more information. I have solved the problem for now. I swapped the TDM10B I was using with another one I had laying around and I no longer have any problems. ---OLD MESSAGE--- I have had asterisk working for a few weeks now, and yesterday a big problem started to occur.
