CentOS - Nov 2005 - I have installed the last publication of CentOS

I have installed the last publication of CentOS in Compaq notebook 100, I try
from other portable that I have XP MICROSOFT ftp, telnet, rlogin but don't
become something, alone that becomes is ping, is known the reasons or what it
should I make?

By default CentOS doesn't have ftp, telnet, nor rlogin services
running/accessible via firewall.

Use an ssh client such as PuTTY.
